If ever a horse represented winning against the odds it has to be this one. A Grand National specialist, Red Rum made this - the ultimate steeplechase, his own by prevailing 3 times (1973-74 &77). 

Some purists may argue that Red Rum was ‘only an Aintree horse’ but we make no apologies for including him in this list of Legends. Dick Rees himself was a winner of the National and would be first to recognise the greatness required to win this race – Red Rum won 3 (a record!), and for this reason we are proud to associate the Dick Rees name with him.
