Royals of Leyburn enjoys an unassailable reputation as a true centre for everything Tweed.
No longer limited to drab colours, our Tweeds retain that essential durability but now in a startling range of colours and patterns. Here, we feature the world famous Irish manufacturer, Magee; whose 140+ years reputation is further enhanced by a visionary use of colours which serves to create an impressive role for Tweed in the world of fashion.
Tweed is now equally at home on country or cat walks.

We are constantly asked about our name. The title came about in October 2005, a few months after my father died in July. The family name is Hutchinson and his first name was Royal. The shop was named in his memory as ‘Royals of Leyburn’.
